Donald J. Schabel  Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Richlin) (formerly Simpson) for 45 years.  Loving father of Ned (deceased) Andrene, Mark (Betty, deceased), Katie Sebille (Ron) and Karen Haggarty,  "Pops" to Ken Simpson, (Kate), Denise Simpson and Jack Simpson (Kellie). Brother of Dick (deceased) (Kathleen), Ray (deceased) (Aggie) and Mary Lou Ward (John). Grandfather of 12, Great grandfather of 18. Great-great grandfather of 5. Charter member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 610 (Brook Park). Don served with the 11th Airborne Division during the Korean War. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, March 3rd, 11:30 a.m. at St. Angela Church 20970 Lorain Road.  MEET AT CHURCH.  Family will receive friends at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas) Monday 3-7 p.m.  Contributions to Reserve Care Ames Family Hospice would be appreciated.   A reception will be held following Mass at the American Legion 610 Post.  Everyone is invited.
